Top visits for college groups in Paris

Bakery Le Grenier à Pain

Paris is the home of the baguette, that golden bread stick which is a real symbol of all things French. You are invited as part of a small, select group to step behind the counter of a typical beautiful French bakery, a boulangerie, into the kitchen to watch a demonstration by the master baker of how a perfect baguette is made. A baguette and croissant goodie bag will be available free of charge for you to take away at the end.

Brasserie Mollard

The Brasserie Mollard is one of Paris' most beautifully decorated restaurants. The Brasserie was built by E. Niermans, architect of the very famous Hotel Negresco in Nice, the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo and the Moulin Rouge. Our guide will help you discover the hidden secrets behind this impressive decor and explain how the Restaurant works.

Artisan French Bakery

French bread and the classic baguette have been staples of French cuisine for hundreds of years; and just as these breads have stood the test of time, so too has the tradition of bread-making and baking in France. We invite you to enter into the kitchen of a bakery to see for yourself the bakers in their element and how they work. You'll learn the bread-making traditions and the origins of some of France’s most iconic products, and you’ll get to see the bakers at work as they fill the shelves of the bakery with breads and pastries for hungry clients. To complete your hour-long visit, you’ll get to leave with a freshly-baked baguette and croissant to enjoy for later.

Musée Gourmand du Chocolat - Choco Story

Discover chocolate’s 4,000 years of history, and modern methods of making it too, then try some of the delicious products.

Gourmet Chocolate Museum

Seine River Boat Cruise

An enjoyable river cruise is a relaxing way to see the sights of Paris. Students also learn from the French (or English) commentary on their headsets.

Paris’ best-known monument has outstanding city views, which on a clear day can stretch for 42 miles, giving the chance to pinpoint many landmarks.

Montmartre & Sacré Coeur

Montmartre provides an opportunity for students to practise their language skills with its many street stalls and street artists, shops and cafés. Once a meeting place for artists in the late 19th and early 20th century, your group can also view artists painting portraits and caricatures for the tourists and enjoy a spectacular view of Paris from the steps of the Sacré Coeur.

Louvre Museum

Probably the most famous museum in the world and home to some of the finest collections of antiquities, sculpture and art. It is the ideal place for students to see the prominent role that art plays in French culture. The museum is also home to cafés and shops where students can practise language skills too.
