One of our university customers required a group travel package where students could perform a critical analysis of international perspectives on health and social care.

Custom-made 5-day itinerary to Reggio Emilia

Day 1 – Arrive in Reggio Emilia, Italy

After boarding a daytime flight to Verona, the group were picked up by coach and transferred to their accommodation.

Staying at the Airone Hotel in Reggio Emilia, the group were located close to some of Reggio Emilia’s most popular landmarks, including Basilica di San Prospero and Piazza Prampolini.

Free time was scheduled in the evening for students to explore the nearby area and taste the local cuisine.

 

Day 2 - International Loris Malaguzzi Center

Continental breakfast served at the hotel, group then travelled to the International Loris Malaguzzi Center for a confirmed visit arranged by StudyLink.

During the morning of their full-day visit the group received a two-hour presentation on the pedagogical, historical and cultural values of the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early childhood Education.

In the afternoon, the group received an introduction and guided tour to both the Ateliers and the Marco Gerra exhibition hall.

The group made their own arrangements for the rest of the day, however StudyLink can provide pre-booked dinner reservations and transport tickets.

 

Day 3 - Group-planned activity

Continental breakfast served at the hotel.

The group chose to arrange their own activities including meals and transport, however StudyLink can pre-book visits, transport and dinner reservations for the group.

Day 4 – Mary Poppins Nursery & Colonello Lugli de Santa Croce school

Continental breakfast served at the hotel. The group were then picked up by coach for transfer to their StudyLink pre-arranged morning visit to Mary Poppins Nursery.

In the afternoon, the group collected the group and transferred them to their visit to the Colonello Lugli de Santa Croce school.

The coach returned the group to their accommodation, where the students were then free to make their own arrangements in the evening.

Day 5 – Return to London Stansted Airport

Continental breakfast served at the hotel.

The group checked out of their accommodation and were collected by coach for transfer to Verona Airport for their morning flight.
