Architecture University Tour to Barcelona

Example study tour 

A university required a group travel package for their Architecture students, where they could visit the iconic architectural treasures and new modernist structures in the city.

Custom-made 4-day itinerary to Barcelona

Day 1 - Flight to Barcelona

The group make their own way to London Luton Airport, where they boarded their morning flight to Barcelona. After arriving at the airport, the group made their own way to their accommodation using their pre-arranged 4-day Barcelona Travel Pass, which allowed them unlimited use of Barcelona's public transport network.

After checking in at the BCN Sports Hostel, the group had the rest of the day free to explore the city. 

Day 2 – Park Güell & Casa Batlló

Continental breakfast served at the hotel.

After breakfast, the group made their way, via public transport, for a StudyLink arranged visit to the Monumental Core of Park Güell. 

The group then went to their second pre-arranged visit to Casa Batlló, where during a self-guided visit they could explore the Gaudi masterpiece at their leisure. 

The group were free to make their own arrangements in the evening.

Day 3 - Barcelona Pavilion & Sant Pau Recinta Modernista

The group made their way to the Barcelona Pavilion for their pre-arranged visit of the Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich designed building. This modern structure has significant architectural importance thanks to its use of extravagant materials, such as marble, red onyx and travertine

After this self-guided visit, the group made their way to a StudyLink arranged tour of Sant Pau Recinta Modernista.  This building was designed by the the leading architect of Catalan Modernisme,  Lluís Domènech i Montaner.

In the evening the group were free to make their own arrangements.

Day 4 - La Sagrada Familia & Return Flight to the UK

Continental breakfast served at the hotel.

Check out of the BCN Sports Hostel before 10am. For their final morning, the group made their way to their pre-arranged tour of the iconic La Sagrada Familia. 

After this visit, the group had some free time to do some last-minute shopping and sightseeing.  Late afternoon, the students used their Barcelona Travel Pass to travel to Barcelona Airport for their evening flight back to London Luton Airport.
