Custom-made 3-day itinerary to Liverpool

Day 1 - Arrive in Liverpool

The group will be picked up at the university campus by coach for their journey to Liverpool.

After arriving in Liverpool, the coach will drop the group off at their accommodation, the centrally-located YHA Liverpool Albert Dock where they will stay for 2 nights.

In the afternoon and evening, free time will be scheduled for students to explore the nearby area and take in the sights.

Day 2 - Tate Liverpool & Open Eye Gallery

Continental breakfast served at the hostel.

The group will make their own way to the Tate Liverpool, which is within easy walking distance of their accommodation. Tate Liverpool was created to display work from the Tate Collection which comprises the national collection of British art from the year 1500 to the present day, and international modern art.

In the afternoon, the group will make their way to their pre-arranged visit at the nearby Open Eye Gallery. Open Eye uses a mixture of cutting-edge international photography and has a considerable archive, making it a must-visit destination for art & design groups.

Free time will be scheduled in the evening for students to explore the nearby area and take in the sights.

Day 3 - Walker Art Gallery & return to university

Continental breakfast served at the hostel.

In the morning, the group will make their way to the Walker Art Gallery, the home to renaissance masterpieces, Tudor portraits and one of the best collections of Victorian and Pre-Raphaelite art in the country.

In the afternoon, the students will board their coach, for the return journey back to the university.
