Tokugawa Art Museum

The Tokugawa Art Museum was established under the non-profit Tokugawa Reimeikai Foundation in 1935. The Museum ranks as the third oldest privately-endowed museum in Japan. It owns a large number of objects and works of art dating back to the twelfth century, including most of the existent sections of the twelfth century Illustrated Tale of Genji.

Tokyo Anime Centre

Tokyo Anime Center is located in Akihabara, Tokyo, dedicated to the art of Japanese animation. It is filled with anime information and colourful banners of anime characters hang in the windows. There is a 3D theatre, and anime goods shop.  The centre hosts regular fairs and exhibitions.

Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum

Founded in 1926, the museum has been home to exhibitions of a wide variety of Japanese art organizations for over seventy years. The museum exhibits pieces by contemporary artists whose works include oil paintings, traditional-style Japanese paintings, sculptures, crafts, graphic designs, and calligraphy.
